TERMS, POLICIES & RULES

Membership & Subscription Policies

  • No cancellations. No refunds. Exclusivity comes at a price— but so do the best treasures.

  • Subscription fees are charged upfront and are non-refundable, regardless of usage.

  • Upgrading your plan mid-cycle? Unless you're upgraded by virtue of the referral program, users will pay the prorated difference; however, there are no prorated downgrades.

  • Subscriptions are non-transferable and can only be used by the registered subscriber.

Buying Rules & Auction Etiquette

  • All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or buyer’s remorse.

  • The Early Buy Option is available to eligible subscribers. Once a purchase is made, the auction listing will be removed, and the sale will be locked in at the highest bid.

  • ​Once a bid is entered on an item, the obligation to follow through is set for the bidder to purchase if the highest (or only) bidder.

  • Flash sales and private auctions are time-sensitive— no holds, no extensions, no exceptions.

Selling & Listings

  • ​Concierge Seller Access (Annual Members Only) – Schedule 1 private auction per year and can have it pushed to members.

  • Boosted Seller Visibility – Listings from monthly and annual members get priority ranking in search results.

  • Fair Market Pricing Required – THRIFTMOOR reserves the right to remove listings deemed misleading or significantly overpriced.​ 

  • THRIFTMOOR seriously frowns upon price-gauging. We don't want the thrift stores doing it, and we won't tolerate it here. 

  • Set a reasonable starting price on the app, and let the market take it from there!

Exclusive Member Benefits

  • Annual Pass subscribers receive priority notifications for premium inventory drops.

  • Annual Pass subscribers are eligible for personalized thrift matchmaking— which means our Concierge team will curate selections tailored to your preferences.

  • Only verified subscribers can participate in private auctions.

  • Only one account per user. Duplicate accounts will be flagged and permanently removed.

  • Suspicious bidding, artificial inflation of prices, or fraudulent activity will result in an instant ban from the platform.

  • THRIFTMOOR reserves the right to suspend or terminate subscribers who violate policies or compromise the integrity of the THRIFTMOOR marketplace.

5   |  Authenticity & Transparency

  • Honest Listings Only – Items labeled as 'CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC' must be verifiable through THRIFTMOOR’s third-party authentication process. Any misrepresentation of authenticity will result in immediate removal and a potential ban from the THRIFTMOOR platform.

  • If a seller makes a claim of authenticity, they must be able to back it up. But if no claim is made, the buyer knowingly takes on the risk.

  • THRIFTMOOR reinforces personal responsibility, which fits THRIFTMOOR’s high-end but no-nonsense marketplace vibe.

  • No Claims? No Problem. If a seller does not claim authenticity, the item will be listed with the understanding that “buyer assumes all risk”, passing responsibility along the chain of ownership.

  • Know Before You Bid – Buyers are responsible for reviewing all listing details, photos, and seller-provided information before purchasing.
