Shipping & Returns

THRIFTMOOR acts solely as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. All shipping arrangements, costs, and returns are managed exclusively between the buyer and the seller. THRIFTMOOR does not handle, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the shipment or condition of any items sold.

  • Buyers and sellers agree that THRIFTMOOR shall not be held liable for any disputes, damages, losses, or claims arising from shipping or return transactions.

  • Under no circumstances should any returned items be sent to THRIFTMOOR.

  • All sales are final as between buyer and seller, and THRIFTMOOR offers no warranties or guarantees regarding the condition, delivery, or return of purchased items.

  • If a dispute between buyer and seller remains unresolved, please notify THRIFTMOOR promptly. Unresolved disputes may result in suspension or removal of the seller’s access to the platform to maintain marketplace integrity.

 

By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Shipping Policy

  • Once an auction ends, the winning bidder and the seller will coordinate shipping. Sellers are responsible for shipping the item(s) to the buyer within a timely manner. Our standard is to ship all goods within 48 hours of securing payment for the item and its related shipping costs.

  • All items must be shipped with tracking to manage expectations and ensure transparency and safe delivery.

  • Shipping fees are set by the seller and will be communicated to the buyer before the auction closes.

Return & Refund Policy

  • ALL SALES SHOULD BE PERCEIVED AS FINAL. Of course, extenuating circumstances do exist. Some foreseeable exceptions are 1) if the seller has misrepresented the item auctioned, or 2) if the item is not shipped to buyer as paid for and specified, or 3) the item arrives to buyer damaged due to inadequate packaging by the seller.

  • If the seller fails to ship the item within the agreed-upon timeframe or does not respond to refund requests, buyers are encouraged to report the issue to THRIFTMOOR, despite our not being responsible for issuing a refund.

  • Refunds are always handled solely between the buyer and the seller. THRIFTMOOR does not intervene in or settle disputes over refunds.

  • Buyers are encouraged to communicate directly with the seller regarding any issues with an item, including damage or misrepresentation.

  • If a refund is agreed upon by both parties, the seller is responsible for processing the refund via the agreed payment method.​

Buyer & Seller Responsibility

  • Buyers: You’re responsible for reviewing product descriptions, images, and seller information before placing a bid. Make sure to ask any questions about an item before the auction ends.

  • Sellers: You’re responsible for accurately representing your items and promptly shipping them once the auction is complete. Any misrepresentation, delay in shipping, or failure to respond to refund requests may result in a violation of THRIFTMOOR's Rules of Engagement.

Please Note

  • THRIFTMOOR is not liable for shipping mishaps, damaged goods, or missing items during transit. Once the item is shipped, it is the responsibility of the seller and buyer to ensure it reaches its destination safely.

  • If you encounter any issues, communicate directly with the other party involved. THRIFTMOOR is here to support and protect our community but does not mediate personal transactions.
