No. THRIFTMOOR does not charge bidding fees. Buyers only pay the final auction price and applicable tax and shipping costs charged by the seller ('THRIFTMOOR Concierge'). No additional fees are charged by Thriftmoor for bidding.

Sellers (Thriftmoor Concierges) receive payment instantly from buyers via secure mobile payment systems such as Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp.

Once an auction closes, the winning bidder is notified immediately and directed to pay for their item through the secure payment system selected from their digital wallets (such as PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or CashApp).

Subscriptions (weekly, monthly, or yearly passes) provide access to live auctions, curated finds, and additional features depending on the tier chosen. Higher tiers may include features such as unlimited bidding and priority seller support.

Yes! Annual subscribers get early access to a preview of upcoming auctions via email. Annual subscribers may decide to receive notifications from Thriftmoor Concierges about curated items coming to auction.

A Thriftmoor 'Concierge' is a seller who is familiar with curating high-quality items, who places high value on high-end, and provides a virtual shopping experience in real-time. These individuals bring their expertise to identify and post unique treasures for auction that they know will be sought after, and who are committed to professionalism, making the entire selling process effortless and fun.

Sellers offer shipping for most items. Shipping costs are calculated based on the item’s weight, size, and destination and are added to the buyer’s payment at the time of purchase. Local pickup options may also be available if the seller specifies.

If you did not submit the highest bid for an item during it's active auction, not to worry! Keep your eyes peeled. Buyers in good standing will have opportunities to bid on similar items during upcoming auctions. Thriftmoor is a portal for a treasure trove of many other items, so keep an eye out for curated finds that match your interests!

Buyers are required to pay within 1 hour of winning an auction. If payment isn’t received, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder. If the original buyer does not follow through with their payment three consecutive times, the original buyer’s account will face restrictions, including cancellation of their subscription with no refund.

Cancelling auctions is frowned upon. It is always presumed that items put up for bid are literally in-hand at the time the auction is triggered and live. If extenuating circumstances dictate, i.e. there was an error or misrepresentation of the item in the description provided, sellers are permitted to cancel an auction before any bids are placed. However, once bidding begins, auctions cannot be canceled. Once an auction is live, the sellers/Thriftmoor Concierge will be responsible for refunding any charges paid by the buyer for items not secured or shipped within 48 hours of releasing payment.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL unless the seller explicitly offers returns or the item is not as described. Be sure to review item descriptions and photos carefully before bidding. Any discrepancy is between buyers and sellers/Concierges. Thriftmoor is held harmless and is not a unit of arbitration between the two parties.
